Like to go “all out” decorating your home for Christmas?
Members of the Penn Valley Chamber of Commerce are looking for you!
They are working to establish a “one-stop” lighting extravaganza in Penn Valley’s Western Gateway Park the weekend before Christmas.
Still in the initial planning stage, they hope to offer a number of large spaces around the park’s inner circle for individuals and groups to design, stage and display huge and brightly lit expressions of the season.
Visitors will be able to drive around the set-ups and view the extraordinary displays from the comfort of their cars.
Stay tuned on this. Once finalized, I will provide a link on TWI’s, and The Union’s website identifying the places throughout Western Nevada County—including Western Gateway Park—where you can enjoy and take your Holiday visitors to see how we celebrate the Holidays in the Foothills.
Next edition of TWI will publish November 20. Deadline for articles and letters is November 11—Veteran’s Day. That said, don’t forget to thank a vet!
