Eagle Scout completes horse stall project

Between June 27 and July 4, Boy Scout Alexander Nelson constructed a horse stall for Sammie’s Friends Animal Shelter as his Eagle Project. This was made possible by JS Construction, Moule Paint and Glass, Hansen Bros., Hills Flat Lumber Co., B&C True Value, Lake of the Pines Animal Clinic, Lyon Real Estate, The Home Depot, CVS Pharmacy, and all of the individuals who donated to the project. Nelson said he wants to give special thanks to all of the volunteers who worked a total of 278 hours on construction of the stall. He is with Troop 854.
