Finding just the right “emotion” in a doll or teddy bear can make your heart sing, make you laugh out loud or just say, “Ahhhh.”

The 2013 doll and teddy bear spring event in Nevada City will be packed with more than 30 exhibitors selling dolls, teddy bears and all of their accessories. Magical displays will whisk you into a world filled with artistry, nostalgia and fine antiques.

The Crossroads event brings contests, demonstrations and an international group of high-profile artists who share their creations. This lighthearted show and sale is for enthusiasts of all ages with a sales floor packed with dolls, teddy bears, antiques, miniatures, clothes, supplies and more: from antique to modern and the carefully hand-crafted.

There also will be doll and teddy bear identification and appraisal by industry experts.

The Crossroads Doll & Teddy Bear Show & Sales Event is from noon to 4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Nevada City Elks Club, 518 Highway 49, Nevada City. Tickets are $7 for adults, and children younger than 12 get in free.
