Dog boarding available at Grass Valley shelter

Grass Valley Animal Control and its shelter boards dogs for residents of Grass Valley, Nevada City and Nevada County.

Reservations are required as far ahead as possible, as there are only five pens set aside for this use. Dogs must be current on all shots and bordatella vaccine. Dogs must have a current license with Grass Valley, Nevada City or Nevada County.

Puppies under 4 months of age cannot be boarded. Dogs in poor health or requiring medication cannot be boarded.

For more information, please call 477-4630. We are open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 3 to 5 p.m., and on Saturdays, 9 to 11 a.m., and are closed Sundays and holidays.
