Depression support group to meet weekly

Have you ever had bouts of depression and can’t get out of bed? Do you feel stuck in anxious situations and don’t want to be around people? If so, this group might be for you.

The Spirit Center is open at no charge to people facing challenges to their mental health. Trained peer counselors offer acceptance, support, education, and advocacy. Services include peer counseling, support groups, service referrals, weekly brunch and holistic health approach to wellness.

All services are free and confidential.



The free depression and anxiety support group meets weekly on Friday, 11 a.m. to noon, beginning Nov. 16 at the Spirit Peer Empowerment Center, 276 Gates Place, Grass Valley. For information, please call David Lynott at Spirit Peer Empowerment Center (530) 274-1431.
