County money allocated, shooting date corrected

An information box on page A1 Monday incorrectly listed the amount of money Nevada County Board of Supervisors spent on mental health costs in recent years. The list was allocations, not actual expenditures of $31,000 for 2000, $62,000 for 2001-2002 and $112,000 for 2002-2003. In addition, the story with the box should have said the shootings at the county Behavioral Health Department and Lyon’s Restaurant occurred on Jan. 10, 2001, not 2000.

The Union regrets the error.
