Suit not over yet

A headline and story in the Nov. 23 edition was incorrect. Kent Kilroy did not lose the suit against the California Highway Patrol, it is still pending with three causes of action remaining. Judge Carl Bryan only ruled on part of the suit Friday, not the entire thing.

Tribe months late reporting contributions

A story in Wednesday’s edition of The Union on Shirley Hendrickson’s opposition to Indian gaming should have said that one tribe was months, (not years) late reporting contributions.

We regret the errors.
