“We are pleased that both Congressman LaMalfa and Col. Stewart have agreed to attend the lunch,” said Keith Davies, co-CEO and executive director of the local chamber of commerce. “We want to offer our members and the community at large as many opportunities as possible to hear and question people who represent us in important capacities, and the April lunch will certainly meet that goal.”

LaMalfa as keynote speakers will take place 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The congressman is expected to discuss the importance of supporting local commerce during national economic challenges and will also address his support for a strong military and respect for veterans.
“Due to the expected large crowd, advance reservations will be necessary,” Davies said.
The lunch is being sponsored by The Union to benefit both the Greater Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce and Welcome Home Vets, currently located at the Lola Montez House on Mill Street in Grass Valley.
The menu will feature a gourmet buffet from caterer and chef Antonio Ayestaran.
