Children can rock out at summer camp

On The Towne Community Theatre will host its new summer camp, “I Want To Rock”, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 29 through Aug. 2. Children will have learn songs, dances and wear costumes from the different eras of rock. A performance will include songs from Black Eyed Peas, Elvis, the Beatles, Kiss, Joan Jett, Britney Spears, and others. The camp will be at the Buttermaker’s Cottage in Western Gateway Park and will close with a performance on the last day at the Word-A-Live Church in Penn Valley. Suggestions for simple costumes will be provided. Cost is $150 with a 25 percent sibling discount available. The camp is open to all children ages 6 to 14.
