Celebrate Scandinavian culture at the Viking Fair

The first “Viking Fair” will feature traditional cookies, fresh waffles and lingonberries, meatballs and potatoes, herring, open-faced sandwiches, Viking hot dogs and lefse.

Also featured will be rosemaling by Julie Ann Droivold, a lefse-making demonstration, Nordic “white elephants,” handmade crafts and “Fjell” Rya rug, and Scandinavian vendors.

The boat “Viking Båten,” constructed by lodge members, will be anchored at Gate 2.

The public is invited to browse, eat good food and shop while listening to the music of the Hannebrinks, Walter Grob and Sherrick Hiscock.
