Capturing our county

It’s not every day you can say “Happy 100th Birthday,” but that’s what people are saying to Grass Valley resident Sadie Angiolini, who turns 100 today! Sadie used to work in the office of the Narrow Gauge Railroad from the 1920s to 1942. Sadie lives in Sierra Guest Home but lived independently until April of 2003. Sadie’s special friend is Karen Pfanenstiel. Sadie, Karen and Joan Field of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program will share cake, balloons and good times today to mark Sadie’s centennial birthday.
