Cancer center readies workshop

The Sierra Nevada Cancer Center will soon begin a painting workshop for cancer patients, survivors, their caregivers and families.

The workshop is a series of six classes called “Painting Spring” taught by Nevada City artist Margie Miller. The series begins April 19, and runs through May 24. The classes meet in a studio just outside of Nevada City from 12:30-2:30 p.m. A fee of $30 covers the series.
