The lights of California WorldFest’s Meadow stage illuminated the many smiling faces of the crowd during the weekend’s performances, including Ricardo Lemvo and his band Makina Loca.

The ensemble, gathered from many places around the world, put their show together in two days. The originally scheduled Friday night headliner — Seun Kuti and Egypt 80 — couldn’t make the show due to problems with obtaining visa’s.

As the night went on, folks could keep the party going with a gigantic drumming circle or with the sounds of the band Katdelic, who took to the Welcome stage at 11 p.m.
