Saturday

• A bicyclist was injured after being hit by a minivan on Bitney Springs Road, south of Davis Lane. The accident occurred at 11:55 a.m., when a southbound Plymouth Voyager, driven by 66-year-old Dorothy Brown, of Yuba City, cut in front of a bicycle ridden by 43-year-old Michael Melas, of Grass Valley.



Melas was taken by ambulance to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital with cuts and bruises to his arms, as well as back pain.

Sunday

• A caller on the 13800 block of Jerome Way, near Stagecoach Way, reported that his home was burglarized.

Monday

• At 3:13 a.m., a caller on the 12200 block of Lime Kiln Road reported that a vehicle on the road was burning.
