Community blood drive scheduled

The Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is sponsoring a community blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. on June 14. Walk-ins are welcome.

Blood donation is a simple procedure that takes about an hour. You will be given a miniphysical consisting of a medical history review and a temperature, hemoglobin and blood pressure check. It will then only take between five and seven minutes to draw a pint of blood. There is a continual need for blood, so please consider participating in the June 14th blood drive.
