Grass Valley City Councilwoman Patti Ingram and Nevada County Supervisor Robin Sutherland will be honored this week for their contributions to meeting the county’s transportation needs.

Both women serve on the Nevada County Transportation Commission, which will recognize them at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 15 in the City Council Chambers of Grass Valley City Hall, 125 East Main St.

Ingram will be recognized for her communication skills with California Department of Transportation staff and her city government experience, which helped in the transportation planning process.

Sutherland will be recognized for her “eye for detail” in bringing District 4 safety needs to the attention of Caltrans and the commission. During her time as commissioner, she started numerous studies and projects to improve vehicle and pedestrian services.
