‘Bottle Shock’ producers to answer questions

Sonoma County-based producers Marc and Brenda Lhormer will introduce Friday’s screening of “Bottle Shock,” a fundraiser for the mural that will be mounted on the rear wall of the historic Del Oro cinema in downtown Grass Valley.

The Lhormers, who chronicled how a small California winery shocked the French wine world in 1976, will be available for questions after the show.

Wine tasting starts at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at 7:45 p.m. Admission is $15. The Del Oro is at 165 Mill St.

The Lhormers also will attend a VIP reception afterward at a private home nearby to share desserts and Lucchesi dessert wines. The reception is limited to the first 25 people and costs $50, which includes admission to the movie.

Net proceeds from the event go to the Del Oro Mural Project, which is raising funds for the third mural to grace the downtown building.
