Book release party set to celebrate release of ‘Empower Yourself by Loving Your Body’

Nevada County intimacy coach Anna-Thea will offer tips from her new book “Empower Yourself by Loving Your Body,” at a book release party April 14.

The event will be 6 to 9 p.m. at Unity of the Gold Country, 180 Cambridge Court, Grass Valley (off Whispering Pines). Suggested admission is $20 (includes a copy of the book).

In her talk, Anna-Thea will clarify the source of many women’s frustrations that often result from the disconnection they feel from their bodies.

Anna-Thea supports the reconnection and empowerment through presenting the concepts of having a love relationship with food, a love affair with your body and putting more love into your sexuality.

“I am dedicated to providing women with the wisdom and practical know-how to make this a reality for them,” Anna-Thea said.

In addition to loving and honoring their bodies, women who attend Anna-Thea’s book release party will learn how to:

— Create a more loving relationship with food instead of the love-hate relationship many women have with food.

— Make friends with their emotions, slimming down naturally and healing body image issues.

— Gain new insights into their sensual nature.

— Cultivate “vibrational nourishment” instead of turning to emotional eating.

“There are a tremendous amount of emotions women go through in relationships,” Anna Thea said. “Intimacy is ‘into me I see,’ so the more women can connect with themselves, the more they have to share with another.” To RSVP for the book release party, call 702-306-3984.

Anna-Thea is an author, professional speaker and intimacy coach. She is a certified Kundalini and Vinyasa Flow yoga instructor as well as a certified Spiritual Sexual Educator. She has a degree in Dietetics and graduated with honors from San Francisco State University.

Originally from the Bay Area, Anna-Thea has been a Nevada County resident since 2010. Her weekly blog called “Anna-Thea’s Body Wisdom,” educates and inspires women to realize the sacredness of their bodies, according to her bio.
