BonBon Salon stylists working out of new location during closure

The stylists of BonBon Salon are working at a new location until the owner is able to reopen her doors.

Federal bankruptcy authorities closed down the Aveda BonBon Salon in Grass Valley Thursday, Oct. 14 due to personal bankruptcy proceedings of owner Catherine Peters and her husband, but she said customers can find her and her employees at 477 S. Auburn St. until things get back to normal.

“We are blessed to have friends with an empty salon,” Peters said. “I also want to thank the community for the unbelievable outpouring of love and support.”

Customers should look for balloons as the salon doesn’t yet have a sign at the South Auburn Street location.

As for when the BonBon Salon at 110 E. Main St. will reopen, Peters said “We’re waiting for legal counsel. We have no confirmed date for reopening.”
