Blaze destroys mobile home

An electric heater started a fire that burned a mobile home on Rocker Road to the ground Friday evening.

The woman who owns the mobile home was visiting a neighbor at 7:06 p.m., when the fire was reported. No one was hurt in the blaze.

Nevada County Consolidated, Nevada City and Grass Valley fire departments responded to 11472 Rocker Road, near Red Dog Road, and spent two hours cleaning up debris.

The Red Cross provided the woman with temporary shelter and clothes.
