Big rig spills soybean meal, snarls traffic

A jack-knifed big rig on Highway 20 spilled its load of soybean meal across the roadway, snarling traffic just after 5 p.m. Thursday. The accident involved a Mercedes and a big rig near Harmony Ridge Road, according to the California Highway Patrol website. No injuries were reported. The truck spilled about 400 feet of soybean meal across the road, prompting one-way traffic controls.
