Ben Emery’s independent voice

Recently, Ben Emery and Clint Curtis debated in a forum moderated by the League of Women Voters (incumbent McClintock was conspicuous in his absence).

Emery and Curtis frequently agreed, but, in closing, Curtis reiterated the threadbare argument that “a vote for a third party is a wasted vote.” This is exactly the problem with our political system!

Ben Emery’s independent voice is not beholden to special interests. Ben Emery is the voice that actually speaks for the people.

Ben Emery clearly states our government is not representative, and that’s what the two parties want. They fight for campaign dollars instead of votes, and then use their wealth to manipulate opinion.

The reality is that as long as we voters continue to settle, we will continue to be ignored by our own representatives. Those entities are not on our side.

The American political system is dysfunctional and non-representative. It will continue to run amok without an intervention by us – the people it was designed to represent.

Don’t settle for the lesser of two evils. Take a stand in November and vote for someone who truly represents you.

Vote for Ben Emery for Congress.
