Beginning Hebrew taught at center

“Beginning Hebrew for Adults” is offered by the Nevada County Jewish Community Center, 506 Walsh St., Grass Valley, beginning Tuesday.

Learn the aleph-bet (Hebrew alphabet), sounds of the letters and vowels and pronunciation of simple words.

Classes will be Tuesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. at the center and continue through mid-May. Tuition, including books, is $40 for NCJCC members and $60 for nonmembers. For additional information, call 470-9268.
