Ayurveda hosting open house

The California College of Ayurveda will be hosting an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 16 to share with the community the educational and health care services provided at the college, as well as an introduction to career opportunities in Ayurveda. The public is welcome. There are a variety of services available, including a community health care clinic providing a full range of preventative and disease management services, an Ayurvedic spa and Panchakarma Center, which specializes in addressing the cause of disease through detoxification, purification and rejuvenation therapies, and an Ayurvedic education program that includes several different levels of certification students can complete.

The college will be hosting presentations, tours, spa treatment demonstrations, “What’s my Dosha?” body type presentations, complimentary brief consultations and raffle prizes.
