Art fair at Mill Street Sunday

If you’re in the mood to check out some great paintings, sculptures and photographs outdoors over the weekend, come to Mill Street on Sunday.

The 26th annual Sierra Festival of the Arts will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 25 on Mill Street in downtown Grass Valley.

The event will feature more than 50 artists, both local and from across Northern California, said Howard Levine, executive director of the Grass Valley Downtown Association.

“There’ll be a whole variety of two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks at the event,” Levine said. “There’ll be live music from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. There’ll be middle-eastern dancing, Brazilian music and, of course, there’ll be food.”
