Mim Meakin (left) of Grass Valley took down her paintings from the gallery above Foothill Flowers Tuesday so that the Male Cornish Choir could give several of them to the sister city of Bodmin and Nevada City’s sister town of Penzance, both in the county of Cornwall in England. The choir left this week for its special English tour. Meakin’s painting at right is called “Mill Street.”
