Abalone banquet set for Saturday

Sierra Services for the Blind presents the 12th Abalone Banquet 6 p.m. Saturday at the Miners Foundry, 325 Spring St. in Nevada City.

Food, coffee and wine will be provided by Friar Tucks, Las Katarinas, Paulette’s Country Kitchen, SPD Deli, the Stonehouse Culinary Academy, Caroline’s Coffee and Nevada City Winery. Music will be provided by Kelly Flemming, and there will be a raffle and door prize.

Hors d’oeuvres and music begin at 5:30 p.m.

Cost is $100 per person for abalone or cordon bleu, and $700 for a table of eight.
