A Medieval feast at the Foundry

The Miners Foundry Cultural Center’s Stone Hall flashed back to the Middle Ages Thursday, as Seven Hills Middle School seventh-graders celebrated the 16th annual Medieval Feast.

Students dressed as lords, knights and maidens while dining on a catered feast. The students also learned period dances, which they performed for their classmates and teachers.

Students spend a portion of the year studying the costumes and pastimes of the Middle Ages in preparation for the Medieval Feast, which is led by instructor Brian Dowling.
