3 injured in 2-car crash

A two-vehicle crash injured three people Tuesday at the intersection of Highway 20 and Highway 49, according to Nevada City Police Chief Lou Trovato.

Aaron Beyer of North San Juan was making a left-hand turn in his pickup truck onto Highway 49 north toward Downieville at 12:47 p.m. when the collision occurred, Trovato said. Beyer’s vehicle was truck by an Audi that was southbound on Highway 20.

Although his truck overturned, Beyer was not injured, Trovato said.

The Audi was driven by David Bunce, of Santa Rosa, Trovato said. He suffered minor injuries, as did passengers Sharilyn Bunce and Victoria Harris, also residents of Santa Rosa.

The Audi suffered major front-end damage.
