200 pot plants, 4,000 butane cans seized in Camptonville

A search of a suspected butane honey (hash) oil lab in Camptonville on Wednesday led deputies to 200 plants, $2,000 and 4,000 butane cans along with other equipment used to make concentrated cannabis, according to a Yuba County Sheriff’s Department press release.

Deputies are requesting an arrest warrant for William Simpson, 30, of Camptonville.

Members of the department’s Marijuana Eradication Team and the SWAT team found the items when they served a search warrant in the 15000 block of Mountain House Road, the press release said.

They found several butane honey oil extraction devices, two large vacuum ovens, packaging materials, labels made for selling marijuana oils and a firearm.
