1st Nevada Union talent show dancers, singers, actors and more Oct. 9

Nevada Union High School dancers, singers, songwriters, musicians and actors will take the stage at 7 p.m. Friday for the first-ever NU Talent Show.

Among the scheduled acts, 35 dance students from the new Performance Ensemble class will showcase Latin hip hop, Afro-Caribbean and Bollywood dance pieces.

Senior and songwriter Hayley Pritchard, who played Sandy in last spring’s “Grease, the Musical,” will perform a solo act of two songs with her guitar.

All NU performing arts programs are represented in the one-hour event.

Tickets are $10 at the box office at the school at 11761 Ridge Road, Grass Valley.

Only cash, money orders, or checks will be accepted. The box office opens at 5:30 p.m., doors open at 6:15 p.m.
