Local environmental group will screen "What if…the oil runs out?"

The Alliance for a Post-Petroleum Economy will sceen the 2006 drama-documentary, “What if…the oil runs out” on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Chapel, 246 S. Church St., in Grass Valley.

Admission to the screening costs $3.

Set in the year 2016, the film combines a fictional story line with interviews with real scientists to investigate what would happen once the world’s oil supply has been exhausted and people are scrambling to find new sources of energy.

APPLE will moderate an hourlong discussion after the film.
