Lives Lived: William Starr

William Dene Starr of Grass Valley died March 12 after a long illness. He was 77.

According to his wishes, there will be no services.

He served two years in the United States Army. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons Nevada Lodge No. 13/7 & AM.



He is survived by his wife, Irene Starr; daughter, Kimberly Sanchez; son, Dene Starr; grandson, David Ryan Sanchez; sister, Virginia Lawrence; and two nieces and four nephews.

Donations may be made to Hospice of the Foothills. Grass Valley.
