Lives Lived: Robert Lickter

Robert (Bob) Elliott Lickter died March 27, at home in his sleep of a heart attack.

A service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 3, at St. Joseph’s Cultural Center, 410 S. Church St., Grass Valley, to grieve, honor and celebrate Bob.

He was born March 11, 1942, in Los Angeles, to Mort and Lois Lickter.

His living loved ones are many and include his past wife and friend Mary McClain, his beloved Roshaun O’Neill, and daughters Kate and Maggie Lickter,

Rather than fill this obituary with facts, the family seeks to have his story told by you, the community that loved him. Bring your memories, written or otherwise, to share in laughter, tears and silence. Contributions in musical form will be appreciated, as well.

Rather than host a polished event, the family seeks a Nevada City-style gathering. Bring food to share if making food feels good for you, and please bring your own dishware. Call Donna at (530)292-9046 for further food ‘n’ drink questions.
