Lives Lived: Levi Williams

Levi C. Williams died March 23 in Lincoln.

A service is at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 3, at Lassila Funeral Home, on H Street in Lincoln.

He was born Dec. 7, 1920, in Peace River Crossing, Alberta, Canada.



Mr. Williams moved to Downieville, in 1945. He worked for Cal-Ida Lumber Co. for 20 years. He then moved to Lincoln and worked for Tenco Tractor until retirement.

He was much loved and well-respected.




Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Suzanne; children, Ila (Jim) Dunbar of Grass Valley, Loren (Emily) Williams of Lincoln, and Leanne (Richard) Adair of Lincoln; sister, Inez Breidenbach of Springfield, Ore.; grandchildren, Christopher (Danielle) Williams, Kirstie Williams, Garrett, Colton, Wyatt, Justin and Allison Adair, Camryn Williams, Tamera Stroh,Grass, Valley, Kelly Dunbar, Pomona, Calif, and Kim Roth, Grass Valley; great-granddaughter, Addison Williams of Lincoln; mother-in-law, Alice Kuhfeld of Auburn; and numerous other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
