Lives Lived: Chet Lasky

Chester T. “Chet” Lasky died Jan. 13. He was 87.

Mr. Lasky was born Oct. 19, 1922.

While living in the San Francisco Bay Area, Mr. Lasky met his future wife, Thea, at a dance. They shared a passion for ballroom dancing and went with each other often. They married on Nov. 5, 1967.



Together, they opened a successful print shop and later retired to Alta Sierra. They enjoyed golfing and traveling cross-country in their recreational vehicle, accompanied by their dogs.

Mr. Lasky was a kind-hearted gentleman who enjoyed telling stories of the “good old days.” He will be fondly remembered and missed by his neighbors for his daily dog walks in the golf cart.




Mr. Lasky is survived by his children, Mike Holt, Bob Holt, David Lasky, Karen Alegria and Judy Lasky.
