Lives Lived: Charles Swinney

Charles Pate Swinney, of Grass Valley, died March 4. He was 80.

A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Grass Valley. Friends and family are welcome.

He graduated from an Oregon technical college as an electrical engineer and was a United States Navy veteran.



Mr. Swinney is survived by his wife, Adelaida Swinney; two daughters, Donna Lind Mortimer and Rebecca June Swinney; two sons, Byron Allen Swinney and James Swinney; and several grandchildren.
