Lives Lived: Anita May Rahnn

Anita May Rahnn died Saturday, March 21. She was 76.

The family will have a private service.

She was born on July 26, 1933, in Nevada City to Carobeno and Fern Orzalli and grew up in Nevada City.



She married Bruno Benuzzi and had three children, Linda, Richard and Margaret.

She enjoyed reading novels, listening country music and baking deserts.




Anita’s life had many happy memories. She witnessed each of her grandchildren’s wedding and saw each of her great-grandchildren. She cherished all of her children.

She was full of life and always illuminated the room when she entered.

She is survived by her children, Richard and Margaret; grandchildren, Dirk, David, Robert, Wesley, Steven and Farrah; great-grandchildren, Derrick, Tristan, Heavenly, Tanner, Madison, Hunter, Hannah, Courtney, Jordan and Madalyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Linda.

In lieu of flowers, the family donations be made to the Diabetes Association.
