Little League finishes great season

Nevada County Challenger Little League just finished its fifth season of baseball and what a great season it was! We had 45 players and five teams. Because of player dedication and enthusiasm, we were able to split up into two Big League teams (players ages 16 and older) and three Little League teams (players ages 15 and younger). Our great success is attributed to all of the support we get from our sponsors, players, coaches, friends and families. We would like to especially thank Tom Dever who continues as our Lead Coach and liaison with Nevada City Little League. Thanks also goes to Nevada City Little League for their continued support and assistance with the snack shack. We are grateful to our sponsors this year: Caseywood, Eventful Acres, Diamond Pacific, Robert Foster Construction, Arrow Mountain Screenprinting, and the Nevada County Association for the Developmentally Disabled. We had the special addition of dedicated buddies this year and would like to extend our thanks to Ted White and the Nevada Union varsity and junior varsity baseball teams. You guys were awesome!
