Lillian Laymon

Lillian Lucia Laymon died Friday, Sept. 24, at Sierra Vista Hospital in San Luis Obispo, Calif. She was 98.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Grass Valley.

She was born on Oct. 23, 1911, in San Francisco, Calif., to George and Madeline (Canelli) Servetti.



She married Earl F. Laymon on June 26, 1948, in Reno, Nev.

Mrs. Laymon is survived by her daughter, Phoebe (Clarence) Armstrong of San Louis Obispo, Calif.; son, Leon Laymon of Sacramento, Calif.; and 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.




She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl F. Laymon; and son, Gerald Laymon.

Arrangements are by Hooper and Weaver Mortuary, Nevada City.
