Lies surround political campaigns

Political baloney! We’re constantly bombarded with rumors, half-truths, and downright lies. The Republican Central Committee allegedly censured Sue Horne in favor of Dan Logue? Shawn Steel (former chairman California Republican Party) said, “The Republican Party absolutely does not censure or endorse in primaries – period.”

We do know the Rice family went through hell to protect their farm from an unnecessary eminent domain taking that Logue supported. The protection of private property is an important part of our Constitution that all elected officials pledge to uphold? Sue Horne has always been a strong advocate for this.

Doug Ose claims that Tom McClintock voted against many good bills, but I wonder why. Did they have questionable riders attached that were not what the bill intended? Rubber stamp officials vote for all the pork to get re-elected at our expense. Their bragging amounts to: “Give me your money to spend.”

More taxes and regulations limiting our livelihood, while spending us into debt. This process eventually destroys freedom. I’ll be impressed when our rubber stamp Representatives start eliminating some of the burdens they’ve created. Tom McClintock’s always seemed very conscientious about these things, so I question Doug Ose’s negative ads discrediting him.
