Liberal Bush-bashing

The recent letter, “Dubya’s dishonesty,” is very interesting in that it truly reflects the liberal Bush-bashing and contradictory attitude. The writer states, “Whether or not the documents given to Dan Rather are genuine or not is irrelevant.” And then goes on to lambaste our president as a liar, because he “was dishonest about his military record (behavior). The best and principal being honesty.

It is OK for Dan Rather and CBS to forge documents (lies) but that is “irrelevant!” But it is not OK for someone else to do the same. (If its true?) The writer accepts dishonesty, but condemns it in the same statement.

Sorry, but you don’t have it both ways, even though that is typical of liberal, irrational thinking ” hypocrisy!

If the writer is truly devoted to honesty in our elected officials, he should also accept the true statements from Vietnam veterans about Senator Flip Flop’s fabricated military record and condemn him for them, as lies.
