Libby gets a break

“Scooter” Libby’s perjury sentence was commuted by President Bush.

Convicted by a jury of his peers and sentenced by a judge that called the evidence against Libby “overwhelming,” one can only conclude that this administration only believes in the rule of law in selective circumstances that coincide with its agenda. It smacks of quid pro quo (go ahead and break the law, we will get you off).

Can nothing stop this man that flouts the law and rules like he has the divine right of ancient kings?
