Let’s talk over tea

It is evident that The Union has followed the lead from Fox News, fair and balanced, with the two front page pieces about the Tea Party and, more specifically, Mark Meckler. I invite Mr. Meckler to an open discussion on the motives, directions and possible solutions put forth by this self professed growing movement.

We could have two debates on the matter, one on KVMR and one on KNCO if the Management of the two local radio stations would so graciously provide the forum. We could civilly discuss the talking points of the Tea Party and let callers chime in on the issues.

I’m not a lawyer, although I do get involved in legal matters, just a business person who does not necessarily agree with the approach and certain actions of the new-found movement. I’m not a leader of a political cause, just someone who wants to bring some historical and common sense to the table to start a dialog of solutions, not complaints.

Let’s talk!
