Leonard Morrow

A rosary for Leonard H. Morrow of Lake of the Pines will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at Lassila Funeral Chapel in Auburn. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Auburn, followed by interment at the New Auburn Cemetery.

Mr. Morrow died Thursday, Aug. 22. He was 82.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked for Pacific Bell in Southern California for 32 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Catholic community, and the Senior Tea Dancers. He enjoyed fishing, golf and target pistol shooting.



He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Morrow; daughter, Ann Christie; sister-in-law, Wanda Morrow; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials can be made to the Seniors First/Senior Link or to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.




Arrangements are under the direction of Lassila Funeral Chapel.
