Lendell Eastment

Lendell “Len” Allen Eastment’s family will hold a private celebration of his life on April 13. Mr. Eastment passed away as he would have wished. He was healthy and active before passing quietly in his sleep at home on April 5. He was 80.

Mr. Eastment and his wife, Dee, raised their four children in Pleasanton. Mr. Eastment worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a senior design associate until his retirement in 1983.

He designed and helped build the couple’s dream home in Grass Valley on 20 beautiful acres. He was an avid golfer, but most of all he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Eastment is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dolores “Dee” Eastment of Grass Valley; sons and daughter-in-law Chuck and JoAnn Eastment of Evergreen, Colo., and Jim and Lori Eastment of Livermore; daughters and sons-in-law Lois and Phil Kribel of Green Valley, Ariz., and Carolyn and Dave Neal of Sunol; and grandchildren Leslie, Mark, Joel, Eric, Logan, Reid and Johnnie.
