Leading fish expert speaks on ridge

Peter Moyle, a professor of fish biology at UC Davis and a top scientist on native California fish and aquatic ecosystems will speak at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the North Columbia Schoolhouse Cultural Center at 17894 Tyler Foote Road on the San Juan Ridge. Moyle will speak about new developments in stream management that can enhance ecosystems and aquatic life. A $5 donation is suggested for the event sponsored by the Yuba Watershed Institute.
