Lawmakers aren’t doing their jobs

With the continuing inability of the state Legislature to balance our budget (again), instead of raising taxes, try lowering all their wasteful spending. If the porkbellies/sweetheart deals are eliminated, the quality of our lives goes and taxes/services don’t get cut.

If I don’t do my job requirements, my employer will terminate me, and you, for failure to perform our job. Why can’t we take away the Legislature’s state cars, gas cards and withhold their paychecks until they perform their job requirements? A politician won’t make it happen – they’re too busy running around raising money for their party, and protecting their phoney-baloney jobs. And we suffer. I don’t see California elected officials suffering any.
