Laura Schwartz

Graveside services for Laura M. Schwartz of the town of Washington will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Sierra Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Nevada City.

Ms. Schwartz died Sunday, Oct. 13, in Grass Valley. She was 42.

She was born Oct. 31, 1959, in Las Vegas to Milton T. and Geraldine H. Schwartz. She was a rancher. She was a member of Alta Regional. She enjoyed painting, working with animals, sculpturing, gardening and her neighbors.



She is survived by her mother, Geraldine H. Schwartz of the town of Washington; sisters Trina E. Livengood and Teresa R. Schwartz of the town of Washington and Christa G. Schwartz of Redding; brother, Walter P. Schwartz of Santa Rosa; two nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Milton T. Schwartz, in 1971; and a brother, Norman R. Yaeger, in 1989.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
