Lauin Sanders

Graveside services for Lauin E. Sanders of Auburn will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Sierra Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Nevada City.

Mr. Sanders died Saturday, Jan. 1, at home. He was 75.

He was born June 19, 1929, in Banning, to William D. and Iva W. Sanders. He served in the U.S. Army as a PFC for 18 months. He graduated from high school and national school and attended some college. He married Beverly on Oct. 5, 1949, in Santa Barbara. He was a retired State Farm agent. He enjoyed genealogy, computers and traveling.



He is survived by his wife, Beverly J. Sanders of Auburn; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Richard King of Grass Valley; son, Greggory Sanders; grandson, Daniel King of Rocklin; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law Jennifer and Jordan Wilkins of Smartville, and Elizabeth and Greg Vesely of Penn Valley; great-grandchildren Katelyn Kaleb, Kailey, Kara, Autumn, and Abigail; and niece, Beverly Webb.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
